Despite a tightening of the purse-strings, not that they were ever too lose to begin with, at St.Colman’s Park this off-season, Stephen Henderson’s Cobh Ramblers will arrive at the City Calling Stadium on Saturday night fully confident that they can pull of an early upset in this seasons promotion race (kick-off 7-45PM). POLL: 90% say Town squad weaker than 2015

Having received an interesting tweet from a Longford Town supporter the other evening which stated ”De Town” are the 3rd highest ranked outsiders to win the league, with only Wexford Youths and Finn Harps listed at larger odds, the question of squad strength and transfer dealings jumped to mind.
